Manual muscle testing will be demonstrated for each segment of the body. How to recognize compensation patterns, whether they are from reciprocal inhibition or a dysfunction in a kinetic chain, will comprise much of the classroom theory. There is also sufficient time for hands on practice.
8am-9am Discussion of theory of NeuroKinetic Therapy; Understanding how MCC coordinates and controls body movements; How to assess muscles imbalances.
9am-10am Discussion and demonstration of muscle testing for lower back (psoas, tranverse abdominis, quadratus lumborum, transversospinalis); Learning to do specific muscle tests. Learning and practicing Directional Testing.
10am-11am
Demonstration for lower back assessing & muscle testing (sacroiliac, adductors, deep gluteals).
